MRB are Gil Matthews (Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs), Pip Joyce (Shorrock Band), Joe Imbroll (Ian Moss Band) & Australia's Piano Man, Mr Marty Rose. The Short Story: the Marty Rose Band is a group of extremely experienced musicians who present to their audiences the music that they have grown up with, and in some cases, written the songs themselves, or have a special connection to the music they present.

Marty Rose

Marty has been playing solo piano for 25 years, with regular guest performances on The Morning TV show hosted by Bert Newton, working with artists such as Olivia Newton-John and Lisa Edwards, plus performing for Lady Di and Prince Charles.

Peter (Pip) Joyce

Over the last two decades Pip has shared the stage with some of Australia’s finest including Joe Camilleri, Ross Wilson, Russell Morris and Normie Rowe. He has been a long time member of Glenn Shorrock’s band and has toured Australia and New Zealand and the world.

Jo Imbroll

Jo Imbroll has played and recorded with many of Australia’s top artists including John Farnham Band, Ian Moss Band, Normie Rowe...Jo is part of the engine room, the rhythm section of the Marty Rose Band.

Gil Matthews

By the time Gil was 14, he was regularly flying to Sydney to appear on Bandstand and Johnny O’Keefe’s “Six O’clock Rock” also touring with O’Keefe and Col Joye. Gil then joined the much-loved Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs playing numerous tours and recorded 3 albums in the USA.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING FOR AN EVENT - PLEASE READ:

All event tickets can only be purchased directly through our website, which will automatically allocate you a table in the restaurant, and will email you a booking confirmation / tax invoice. Please ensure your email address is correct to ensure you receive your tickets (which is also your booking confirmation).

Simply add tickets to your cart below and follow directions to payment. Our booking site is owned and managed by us, and is security encrypted by STRIPE to ensure the safety of your information. Please note that we do NOT keep or store your credit card details.

All bookings are subject to an online booking fee of $3 per person, which is the cost we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to manage your payment.

TERMS, FEES & CONDITIONS OF YOUR BOOKING - PLEASE READ:

Your event booking includes a table booking in our restaurant, which is in the same space as the event. If you would like to get in contact with us about your booking (such as group seating) please email us at functions@arcobar.com.au and quote booking number(s). Arcobar reserves the right to seat Single Booking purchases onto a group or communal table.

In the event of an artist cancellation, we will automatically move your booking to the rescheduled date or credit your ticket upon request. If you are unable to attend your event, please note that we are happy to offer a credit of the ticket amount (excluding the $3 online booking fee). PLEASE NOTE that there is a $5.50 ticketing administration fee, which is the fee we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to change or cancel a booking.

Please not that we are ONLY able to provide a credit if we are advised at least 48 hours prior in writing to functions@arcobar.com.au and do not offer refunds. We are not able to offer any credit if we are not notified in writing within 48 hours of the time of the event.

Tickets are transferable into another person's name (for the same event). Please advise us in writing if you wish to transfer your booking into someone else's name. If you are unable to book online, and require telephone assistance, we are more than happy to help you, however booking fee is still applicable. Telephone assistance is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm on 9551 1424 (option 2).

Arcobar does not allow reselling of tickets via any social media platform. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any other site or person claiming to have tickets for sale. Do not buy tickets from scammers. Arcobar does all it can to block and remove scammers, but unfortunately some still manage to penetrate the system.
