Renowned Singer-Songwriter Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers return to arcobar for an intimate Saturday night show for JUST $35pp!

A highly regarded guitarist, singer and songwriter, Geoff is equally adept at acoustic and electric styles. The Souldiggers is the name given to the backing group for blues-rock guitarist/songwriter Geoff Achison. It features the best musicians available wherever Achison is on tour, he can provide the full electrifying experience with his outstanding blues/rock combo band.

After performing with Dutch Tilders, Achison formed his band The Souldiggers and produced his first album, Big Machine in 1994, which is featured in the National Library of Australia. The Souldiggers are Gerry Pantazis (Farnham Band) on drums, Roger McLachlan (Little River Band) on bass Richard Tankard (Richard Clapton Band, Things Of Stone & Wood) on keys.

Geoff is also an all-round performer who delights in entertaining the audience with his wry sense of humor. His music is firmly steeped in the blues, but he injects funk, soul, jazz and even classical styles into the mix.

The Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society named Geoff Achison their official ‘Patron’ in 2011, and Geoff celebrated 25 years with The Souldiggers in 2019.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING FOR AN EVENT - PLEASE READ:

All event tickets can only be purchased directly through our website, which will automatically allocate you a table in the restaurant, and will email you a booking confirmation / tax invoice. Please ensure your email address is correct to ensure you receive your tickets (which is also your booking confirmation).

Simply add tickets to your cart below and follow directions to payment. Our booking site is owned and managed by us, and is security encrypted by STRIPE to ensure the safety of your information. Please note that we do NOT keep or store your credit card details.

All bookings are subject to an online booking fee of $3 per person, which is the cost we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to manage your payment.

TERMS, FEES & CONDITIONS OF YOUR BOOKING - PLEASE READ:

Your event booking includes a table booking in our restaurant, which is in the same space as the event. If you would like to get in contact with us about your booking (such as group seating) please email us at functions@arcobar.com.au and quote booking number(s). Arcobar reserves the right to seat Single Booking purchases onto a group or communal table.

In the event of an artist cancellation, we will automatically move your booking to the rescheduled date or credit your ticket upon request. If you are unable to attend your event, please note that we are happy to offer a credit of the ticket amount (excluding the $3 online booking fee). PLEASE NOTE that there is a $5.50 ticketing administration fee, which is the fee we are charged by the secure payment portal gateway to change or cancel a booking.

Please note that we are ONLY able to provide a credit if we are advised at least 48 hours prior in writing to functions@arcobar.com.au and do not offer refunds. We are not able to offer any credit if we are not notified in writing within 48 hours of the time of the event.

Tickets are transferable into another person's name (for the same event). Please advise us in writing if you wish to transfer your booking into someone else's name. If you are unable to book online and require telephone assistance, we are happy to help you, however, the booking fee is still applicable. Telephone assistance is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm on 9551 1424 (option 2).

Arcobar does not allow reselling of tickets via any social media platform. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any other site or person claiming to have tickets for sale. Do not buy tickets from scammers. Arcobar does all it can to block and remove scammers, but unfortunately some still manage to penetrate the system.
